STR-21G-SH2 Solar Monitoring Station
High-precision solar station for direct, diffuse and global radiation measurement with Harmonic Drive tracking, integrated GPS and sun sensor.
Overview
The STR-21G-SH2 is designed to perform the most accurate solar radiation measurements across the three main components: direct, diffuse and global. It integrates easily with any DAQ system featuring multiple analog or digital inputs and includes an in-built sun-position sensor and GPS receiver for quick and easy setup.
Based on the STR-21G sun tracker with a new shading disk assembly mounted on one arm, the system also includes the industry-leading Class A MS-80SH pyranometer and Class A MS-57SH pyrheliometer. Altogether, the STR-21G-SH2 is one of the most high-end sensor systems for solar energy research.
The STR-21G-SH2 can also be freely configured to measure the required solar radiation components in the most accurate way, ensuring a cost-effective solution for every application.
In harsh environments, the MS-80SH can be paired with the optional MV-01 ventilator and heater, while the MS-57SH pyrheliometer features a heated front window that protects both sensors from condensation and ice for continuous accuracy in any weather.
