It features insect-proof grates, an easy-lock nozzle, and a built-in leveler. This model is suitable for meteorology, hydrology, agriculture, forestry, field monitoring stations, and other industries. When used with a rainfall recorder, it allows for the measurement of precipitation, its intensity, and duration.

Combined with a data logger UA-003-64 it can be used to measure precipitation, the intensity of precipitation, and the time of precipitation.
