Quick technical facts

  • Number of cells: 24 fuel cells.
  • Hydrogen pressure: 0.45-0.55 bar.
  • Ambient operating temperature: 5-30 °C.
  • Humidification: self-humidifying.
  • Stack weight: 3.4 kg including fan and casing.
  • Controller weight: 0.6 kg.
  • System efficiency: 40% at 14.4 V.
  • External power supply required: 13 V at 5 A.

Safety and operation

Do not insert or disconnect power cables while the stack is turned on. Warranty is void if the fuel cell stack is disassembled or tampered with. Hydrogen is colorless, odorless, and flammable; operate and store the stack and hydrogen canisters in well-ventilated areas and always use a highly accurate hydrogen sensor to detect leaks. Refer to the H-500 user manual for full safety requirements.
