EMScloud Soilset 21 EMS IoT Soil Moisture and Temperature Monitor (IoT Sensors)
EMScloud Soilset 21 is an IoT device with four SMT 100 sensors for accurate long-term monitoring of volumetric water content and soil temperature. It transmits data through the Sigfox network every 60 minutes and integrates directly with the EMScloud platform.
EMScloud Soilset 21 is an IoT solution for continuous monitoring of volumetric soil water content and temperature using four Truebner SMT 100 sensors. It is intended for long-term applications in agriculture, environmental research and soil-condition monitoring where remote communication and low maintenance are required.
The system performs measurements and data transmissions every 60 minutes through the Sigfox network. Data visualization, archiving and download are handled by the EMScloud application, where measured values are presented in clear graphs and can be downloaded in several formats, together with alerts for failures or unexpected events.
The unit combines volumetric water content measurement in a 10 cm profile with temperature sensing in the sensor body. It runs on a long-life lithium-ion battery with approximately 1.5 years of autonomy, IP68 protection and a 10 m sensor cable, enabling simple field installation and reliable operation in demanding environments.
