SoilTemp 01 - EMScloud air and soil temperature sensor (IoT Sensors)

The EMScloud SoilTemp 01 is an IoT sensor for continuous air and soil temperature measurement in environmental, agricultural, and research monitoring applications. The device combines a transmitter with an air temperature sensor and a support pin that is inserted into the soil and includes a temperature sensor in the anchor tip.

The system is designed for long-term field deployments with very low maintenance. It records temperature every 20 minutes and sends data to the Internet every 60 minutes through the Sigfox network, enabling remote readings without complex local infrastructure.

Data visualization, archiving, and downloading are fully handled in the EMScloud platform, where measured values are displayed in clear graphs accessible from different devices. The unit is also supported by Mini32 software, which is optimized for long time series, period aggregation, and fast statistical calculations.

Its IP68 construction, long-life lithium battery, and extended operating range make it a reliable choice for permanent outdoor monitoring.
