Is tempmate IATA compliant and can therefor be used in aircrafts?
Yes, tempmate.^® single-use loggers contain a 3V Lithium battery as power source, which according to IATA can be used in aircrafts. Please use the following documents to attach with you consignment:

Which time is displayed in tempmate's PDF reports?

tempmate data loggers have an integrated real time clock (RTC), which is factory set to UTC time zone. That means, date and time displayed in PDF report is based on UTC and 24-hour clock [MM/DD/YY HH:MM:SS].

The start time is in seconds accurately documented and stop time always corresponds to the last measurement interval during the device was stopped.
Is tempmate's PDF report protected against manipulation?

Like any electronic document, a PDF file can be manipulated. However, even after the data analysis, the original data remains stored on the tempmate logger so that the data can always be downloaded again and compared with the questionable PDF report. Therefore, it is important that the logger is retained.
Why can I not open the PDF report?

You need Adobe Acrobat version 9.0 or higher to open the PDF file correctly. If you have a previous version installed on the computer, please update:www.get.adobe.com / uk / reader
What is the analysis of a PDF report?

The temperature is displayed as a graph, and table all individual values. In addition, other statistical information is included (eg, serial number). See sample PDF report
Are tempmate loggers calibrated?

Yes, with each delivery, you will receive a free certificate. See Sample Certificate
How long the logger are durable / storable?

Shelf life of tempmate loggers is 12 months for recording mode. Reading the data is always possible as the device is power supplied by USB port of computer. The expiry date is printed on each logger. We are not supplying any loggers with less than 6 months to our customers.
Exactly how the built real-time clock (RTC)?

The real-time clock of the logger does the production. Technical reasons, there may be an error of Â± 2 minutes after 5 months or Â± 4 minutes after 10 months.
How to dispose of tempmate loggers?

After usage the tempmate loggers belong to electronic scrap. So many components can be recycled.
