RESK-02B-1 DIY Fuel Cell Science Kit - H2GP EXPLORER (XPR)
RESK-02B-1 STEM kit to design, build and test a hydrogen-powered car with electrolysis, fuel cell technology and H2GP Explorer activities.
The RESK-02B-1 DIY Fuel Cell Science Kit - H2GP EXPLORER (XPR) challenges students to design and fabricate a hydrogen-powered car using electrolysis and fuel cell principles.
Everything needed to split water and use its hydrogen to generate electricity is included. The generated power can be applied to the supplied H2GP Explorer activities or to original student-built ideas.
Students begin by sketching concepts on paper, then source materials that are strong enough to hold the fuel cell components while remaining light enough to maximize driving distance. They then build and test their prototype.
The kit includes activity guidance and teaching materials covering climate change, renewable energy, redox reactions, electric circuits, efficiency, and electric power.
Design, build, race.
