EMS64 DL Sap Flow System with datalogger
EMS Brno EMS64 DL sap flow system with embedded MicroSet 6X datalogger, SF64 sensor and THB method for stems from 6 to 20 mm.
EMS64 DL sap flow system with datalogger
EMS64 DL by EMS Brno is a stand-alone sap-flow measuring unit with embedded datalogger, designed to assess plant water regime under field conditions. The system is based on the tissue heat balance (THB) method, with variable power and constant temperature difference.
The configuration uses the MicroSet 6X unit for control, measurement and datalogging, together with SF64 sap-flow sensors for stems from 6 to 12 mm or from 10 to 20 mm. The system combines external heating, internal stem-tissue temperature measurement, weather shields, connecting cables, powering and an input for the PDS40P stem diameter sensor.
The manufacturer highlights that the constant-temperature-difference control avoids overheating of stem tissues and gives a realistic picture of plant water status. The unit supports infrared wireless data access and Mini32 software for long time series, baseline processing, quick statistics and net sap-flow calculation.
