The 9 inch (22.9 cm) Soil Moisture Tester 6400 is an analog meter designed to quickly evaluate moisture in any type of soil with a single calibration. It uses a resistance-type sensor located at the tip of the shaft, allowing immediate readings directly in the root zone.

The reading scale ranges from 0 for dry soil to 10 for saturated soil. Its compact 22.9 cm probe makes it ideal for fast sampling in pots, seedbeds, horticultural crops, nurseries, professional landscaping, and field technical work.
