Dismantlable Adapta-Stack electrochemical cell for testing custom PEM MEAs. Independent reactant flow and an expandable design support multiple experimental configurations.
The Adapta-Stack is a dismantlable electrochemical stack that allows users to install their own custom PEM MEAs for testing. Independent reactant flow on each side of the MEA makes this setup suitable for many different electrochemical configurations and test arrangements.
The stack includes plastic endplates, an anode configuration on both sides of the bipolar plate, an expandable design, included MEAs, and the required hardware. The Adapta-Stack Electrochemical Cell includes guide dowels, and 1/8" guide dowels are recommended during assembly to help align the stack components correctly.
- MEA active area: 3.2 x 3.2 cm (10 cm²)
- MEA membrane area: 5.3 x 5.3 cm
- Fittings: 4 x 1/8" push-to-connect (2 per reactant side)
- Graphite plate overall dimensions (L x W x D): 6.3 x 6.3 x 0.4 cm
- Recommended torque value: 6-7 inlbs
