Scientech2425 Conveyor Control by PLC
Conveyors are basically material handling equipments. Conveyors are used for moving materials over a fixed path. There is a broad range of types of conveyor systems. Wheel conveyor, Roller conveyor, Chain conveyor, Magnetic conveyor, Pneumatic conveyor are some the major types.
Conveyors are basically material handling equipments. Conveyors are used for moving materials over a fixed path. There is a broad range of types of conveyor systems. Wheel conveyor, Roller conveyor, Chain conveyor, Magnetic conveyor, Pneumatic conveyor are some the major types.
Conveyors are used :
- When material is to be moved frequently between specific points
- To move materials over a fixed path
- When there is a sufficient flow volume to justify the fixed conveyor investment
Conveyors can be classified in different ways :
- Type of product being handled: unit load or bulk load
- ŸLocation of the conveyor: overhead, on-floor, or in-floor
- Scientech 2425 Conveyor Control by PLC is a Flat Belt Conveyor system. It consists of two Sensors. One is IR Sensor and other is Proximity Sensor. Belt is driven by a DC motor. Output of Proximity Sensor, output of IR Sensor are the inputs of PLC Motor direction and buzzer are the outputs of PLC. Some additional I/Os also given for user.
