SR-1R Electrocorder Solar Irradiance Recorder
The SR-1R is a single-channel solar irradiance recorder for measuring solar radiation at proposed or existing PV and solar thermal sites. It helps assess solar resource and compare site conditions using the EC-SP-110 pyranometer.
The Electrocorder SR-1R is designed to measure solar irradiance for resource studies, site assessment and ongoing solar condition monitoring at PV and solar thermal installations. It is a dedicated solution when irradiance needs to be logged over time without adding other electrical measurements.
The unit works with an EC-SP-110 pyranometer to record incident solar radiation and help compare conditions between sites or time periods. It is well suited to renewable-energy studies, agriculture, horticulture and solar investigations where irradiance is the key parameter.
Setup is carried out with Electrosoft software. The pyranometer is positioned at the measurement location, power is connected and logging begins. Once sufficient data has been captured, the logger is connected to a PC by USB to review, save, export and report the results. The package includes the SR-1R logger, EC-SP-110 pyranometer, USB lead, 12 Vdc power supply, carry case, battery, user instructions and free Electrosoft analysis software.
