Ant-1CE-5Hz: ultra portable nodal seismometer for advanced seismic exploration
The GEOANT Ant-1CE-5Hz is a single-component nodal seismometer with external interface engineered to reduce operational complexity, improve survey efficiency and lower field project costs. It combines advanced GPS/Beidou synchronization algorithms, ultra-low-power circuitry and wireless data and charging technology for streamlined deployment and recovery.
Its highly integrated design, zero external contacts and IP68 ingress protection make it well suited to complex terrain and harsh environments. The system provides long operating life, supports intelligent or automated deployment workflows and uses a state-of-the-art ADC design with exceptional dynamic range for detecting micro-vibrations with precision.
The Ant-1CE also supports external connectivity with land geophone strings, marsh phones and hydrophones, and it is suitable for UAV-assisted surveys above 300 meters AGL. Typical application areas include seismic zonation safety assessment, shallow geological surveys, urban subsurface exploration, geothermal projects, coal mine goaf detection and exploration for petroleum, natural gas, coal and nonferrous minerals.
