EMScloud Soilset 22 EMS IoT Soil Moisture Conductivity and Temperature Monitor (IoT Sensors)
EMScloud Soilset 22 is an IoT device with a CS650 sensor for accurate long-term monitoring of volumetric water content, electrical conductivity and soil temperature. It transmits data through Sigfox and integrates with the EMScloud platform with low maintenance.

EMScloud Soilset 22 is an IoT solution for continuous soil-condition monitoring using a Campbell Scientific CS650 sensor. It is intended for long-term applications in agriculture, environmental research and plot supervision where volumetric water content, electrical conductivity and soil temperature must be tracked with remote access to data.
The system measures every 30 minutes and sends data every 60 minutes through the Sigfox network. The EMScloud platform provides online visualization, archiving, value aggregation and integration, downloads in several formats and alerts for failures or unexpected events. It is also supported by Mini32 software for graphical work with long time series, hourly, daily and monthly calculations, brief statistics and summation or min-max-average functions.
The CS650 sensor uses two 30 cm stainless steel rods, allowing volumetric water content and conductivity measurement in a larger sample volume to reduce error, while also measuring temperature in the sensor body. The transmitter runs on a long-life lithium-ion battery, offers more than 2 years of autonomy, IP68 protection and a 3 m cable for simple field installation.
