Robin-300860 Radon Sensor - mining version (0-400 or 0-4000 Bq/m3) & 1-10Vdc output
Radon is a natural radioactive gas that comes from the soil.
Radon comes from the Uranium present in the rocks.
High and dangerous levels of Radon accumulate in buildings.
In Spain, radon generates 2000 cases of lung cancer each year.
► ROBIN radon sensor (Mining version with special anti-dust cover) of the Gammadata Instrument.
► Measures radon gas in the air and converts the concentration into a proportional output signal.
► Uses the rugged radon sensor used in mines or other high humidity underground areas for constant monitoring of radon gas.
The ROBIN radon sensor is a professional-grade solution designed for fixed installation in a variety of environments, including smart homes, radon monitoring systems, radon evacuation setups, and integration with air handling units or extract air fans.
Its compact and efficient design allows for continuous monitoring of radon levels, ensuring the safety and health of the indoor environment by facilitating timely detection and management of radon gas.
The default measurement range is 0-4000 Bq / m³, but can be easily customized if requested.
The radon sensor has high immunity to EMC. Protection against moisture is achieved by additional paint on the PCB and a thermal load in the vicinity of the detector to prevent condensation.
The sensor is designed for fixed installation.
The Gammadata radon sensor ROBIN measures the radon in air and converts the concentration to a proportional output signal.
The sensor can be connected to a fan controller, PLC or any other device suitable for analog input signals.
The measurement range can also be specified by the customer however, the standard sensor range is 0 -4000 Bq/m3.
The sensor has enhanced protection against humidity with a thermal load inside to prevent condensation as well as additional coating. It has high immunity to EMC.
The radon sensor could be fixed installed in any direction i.g. in ventilation ducts or wall mounted. It's independent of the air flow condition and will measure correct in both laminar and turbulent airflow.
