3415FSE LightScout Dual Solar/Electric Quantum Meter
Quantum sensors measure the photosynthetically active light is used for photosynthesis - between 400 and 700 nm. Research indicates that contemporary meters lux and foot candle may have errors up to 45% when used to estimate the quantum light available for plant growth. Start taking more measurements with Field Scout Quantum light meter.
Measure the light used for plant growth; PAR is a more valuable measurement than foot-candles as it measures only the light used by plants for photosynthesis.
- Measures photosynthetically active radiation (PAR) from 400 to 700 nm
- Range; 0 to 2000 µmol·m-2·s-1, accuracy of to ±5%; Cosine correction is accurate to ±3% at 45°, and ±7% at 80°
