CC-A 8-Parameter Soil Sensor
Multiparameter sensor for measuring soil temperature, moisture, electrical conductivity, salinity, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and pH via RS485 Modbus-RTU.
Description
The CC-A soil sensor integrates eight measurement parameters: temperature, moisture, electrical conductivity, salinity, nitrogen, phosphorus, potassium and pH. The temperature sensor uses a precision NTC element with thermal compensation circuits. Moisture is determined using the frequency-domain reflectometry principle by measuring the dielectric constant of the soil. Conductivity and salinity are measured with a stainless-steel probe and temperature compensation.
The unit provides good accuracy, fast response, efficient data transmission and an IP68 sealed housing suitable for buried installation. Applications include water-saving agricultural irrigation, meteorological and environmental monitoring, greenhouses, flower and vegetable cultivation, grassland and pasture production, rapid soil testing, plant cultivation and scientific experiments.
Operation and connection
RS485 output with Modbus-RTU protocol, default address 01, 9600 baud, no parity, 8 data bits and 1 stop bit. Power supply 5–24 V DC, typical current 11 mA at 5 V and 1-second settling time.
Installation and protection
Fully insert the probe into the soil or bury the sensor completely. Protection is provided against reverse polarity, electrostatic discharge, electrical fast transients and surges. The standard cable is 1 m long and can be extended on request. The manual states a one-year warranty.
