RTM-3001A Mooney Viscometer
Mooney viscometer for measuring viscosity and scorch characteristics of unvulcanized rubber with precise temperature control up to 200 °C.
The RTM-3001A is a Mooney viscometer designed to determine the viscosity and scorch characteristics of unvulcanized rubber under controlled temperature and pressure conditions. The instrument applies a defined shear stress to the sample and measures the anti-shear torque generated during rotor rotation, delivering reliable data for process control and raw-material evaluation.
It operates from ambient temperature up to 200 °C with fine display resolution and stable thermal regulation. The integrated printer records date, time, temperature, the Mooney scorch curve, and key values such as MV, T5, T35, T3, T18, @15 and @30, making it easy to document each test.
It is well suited for rubber plants, tire manufacturers, reclaimed-rubber processors, and wire and cable production environments. The RTM-3001A follows methods related to GB/T1232, GB/T1233, ISO289, ISO667, and ASTM D1646 for Mooney viscosity and initial curing characterization.
