El 35951Q1 es una versión mejorada de la 35951C1, que incluye 3 y 4 la resistencia terminal y las instalaciones de medición de IDT organizadas de una manera similar a la IMP 35951H originales. Todos los 20 canales disponibles para utilizar en pares para los modos de medición de alambre 3 y 4.
Los canales son totalmente programables y así cada medición 3 o 4 hilos retoma 2 canales, pero deja el resto a disposición de otros modos de medición 35951C. Sigue siendo compatible con el 35951C, y los modos de medición de resistencia se programan utilizando los mismos códigos como 35951H. El cableado del conector para los modos de resistencia terminales 3 y 4 difiere un poco de la 35951H, pero por lo demás la 35951Q es compatible con los modos de medición de los canales analógicos 35951H.
