Autotronics is a branch of engineering in which knowledge and electronic resources are applied to the automotive sector. It is a science that represents a field very rich in knowledge, because it represents everything that today is handled by sensors and electronic processors in a car.
Many of the functions of a car today have evolved from being mechanical (controlled by pressure valves and axes that marked indicators in the form of a clock) to being electronic, controlled by a computer that shows on the screen detailed reports of the current condition of the car or vehicle.
