Scientech TechBooks are compact and user friendly learning platforms to provide a modern, portable, comprehensive and practical way to learn Technology. Each TechBook is provided with detailed Multimedia learning material which covers basic theory, step by step procedure to conduct the experiment and other useful information.
Anesthesia, or Anaesthesia from Greek an-"without" and aesthesis- "sensation") has traditionally meant the condition of having sensation (including the feeling of pain) blocked or temporarily taken away. This allows patients to undergo surgery and other procedures without the distress and pain they would otherwise experience.
Another definition is a "reversible lack of awareness", whether this is a total lack of awareness (general Anesthesic) or a lack of awareness of a part of the body such as a spinal anesthetic. Anesthesia differs from analgesia in blocking all sensation, not only pain.
Generally we can say that Anesthesia is used to ensure that patient does not feel pain during surgery and also provides the surgeon with favorable condition for the work.
Scientech2363 TechBook for Basics of Anesthesia Machine is an ideal platform to enhance education, training, skills & development amongs our young minds.
