UEM80 MID - 80A three phase energy meter with built-in communication
The UEM80 is a 4 DIN module three-phase energy meter designed for industrial and civilian applications. It offers reliable energy measurement with various built-in communication options depending on the model, including RS485 Modbus RTU/ASCII, M-Bus, or Ethernet Modbus TCP.
This meter is available with MID certification, making it suitable for billing purposes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards. Its robust design and versatile communication options make it ideal for both small-scale and large-scale energy monitoring applications.
The UEM80 series of 80A three-phase energy meters offers multiple built-in communication options tailored for industrial and civilian applications. These meters are designed for direct energy monitoring and management, featuring advanced communication protocols and data tracking capabilities.
Model Variants:
- UEM80-4D R: RS485 Modbus RTU/ASCII communication
- UEM80-D M: M-Bus communication
- UEM80-4D E: Ethernet (Modbus TCP) communication
Key Features:
- Direct connection: Supports up to 80A
- Fully bi-directional, 4-quadrant measurement: Measures all energy and power flows, both import and export
- 4-wire networks: Supports balanced or unbalanced loads (M-Bus model can also be used for 3 or 4-wire networks)
- Class B compliance: According to EN 50470-3 (MID certified for billing purposes)
- Data storage: 8MB for recording and automatic or manual data transferring (only available in the Ethernet model)
- S0 pulse output: For energy pulse emission
- MID certification: Ensures reliability for billing applications
This series of energy meters is suitable for various applications including industrial energy monitoring, renewable energy tracking, and billing for energy consumption in commercial and residential settings.
The UEM80 energy meter measures essential electrical parameters and makes them accessible via its built-in communication port, allowing remote management of the connected meter. Depending on the model, data is transmitted over RS485, M-Bus, or Ethernet, facilitating easy integration into various systems. A free dedicated application is provided for remote monitoring and control.
The meter features a backlit LCD display that shows real-time energy consumption and instantaneous power readings. With carefully selected components and optimized internal temperatures, the UEM80 ensures long-term reliability and high-quality performance.
