PTC2 Plate Cell Kit (Electrochemistry / EIS)

The plate test cell, PTC2, is a simple cell for electrochemical testing of coated samples. Also it can be a perfect choice for measuring EIS(Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) of painted metal specimens. The PTC2/PCT015 are very easy to assemble.

The PTC2 is very easy to assemble. Just follow the below procedure

  • Assembly of the cell kit:


a) Gently push the counter electrode and reference electrode into the holes of the cell top
b) Place the metal sample (working electrode) of the PTC2 base
c) Place the glass cell body on top of the sample and make sure that the o-ring fits in the groove of glass cell body. Before run the test, it is recommended to check whether the cell is leaking or not.
d) Clamp the cell body to the base
e) Fill the cell with the test solution
f) Place the cell top on the cell
g) Connect the cell to the test instrument
