Precise Cloud Ceiling Measurement
This ceilometer, or ceilometer, is an instrument designed to accurately measure cloud base height and vertical visibility using the LIDAR principle.
It works by emitting a laser beam into the sky, which is reflected by the clouds and received by a photodetector located inside the device.
By processing the signal intensity and the return times of the reflected beam, the ceilometer can detect up to four different cloud layers, providing valuable information about their composition and height.

Robust and Compact Design
The instrument has a compact design and is made entirely of aluminum to ensure high weather resistance. The included heaters prevent moisture and ice buildup on the optical windows and allow for accurate measurements in dewy conditions and at low temperatures.

Maximum Connectivity

It can be connected to any conventional datalogger to store data and later download and view it on a computer.

It has RS-232 and RS-485 serial ports.
Ethernet port available as an option.
